Ella Hunt shot her first fashion campaign for Banana Republic in Paris, wearing pieces from the brand's holiday collection. The actress and musician filmed on a custom ice rink and along the Seine during peak summer heat, with the campaign set to release in a few months when the clothing aligns with the season.
Hunt, known for roles in Apple TV's Dickinson and Hulu's Not Suitable for Work, gravitates toward uniform dressing in her personal style. She rotates between a few key pieces each season: ruched camis with brigade pants and field boots, boiler suits, or oversized men's sweaters. She plans to add the campaign's sweater dress, cashmere pants, and denim-on-denim outfit to her fall and winter rotation.
The 28-year-old grew up in Devon, England, and moved to Brooklyn at age 20 when cast in Dickinson. Her mother, Louise, was a model and actress who became a sculptor and collected vintage pieces intentionally. Hunt inherited her mother's wardrobe, which includes vintage Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen pieces, including a pink silk satin frock coat from McQueen's 1992 graduation collection.
Hunt released her debut album, Blindspot, in June. For the album release, she purchased a Saint Laurent power suit "with really big shoulders and a tie" from the Spring/Summer 2025 collection, hoping it will become a family heirloom. She balances styling herself as a musician with working with stylists as an actress. Her husband is New York-based musician Thomas "Doveman" Bartlett. Hunt's album explores grief and heartbreak following her older sister Emily's death from cancer in 2023, weaving themes of familial love, independence, and hope.
